Bringing Ophthalmic Health Access to Guatemala – October 2012

 

The International Eye Institute is looking forward to the arrival of our team that will be going to Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala on October 29 for 10 days to perform ophthalmic exams and pediatric and adult eye surgery. The team consist of two surgeons, a nurse anesthetist, a pediatrician, three RN’s and two technicians. We hope to evaluate at least 150 patients and do surgery on as many as 50 people.

The packing party included Nurses Mary Sibulsky, Julie Crandall and Denise Buettner, and helping out Steve Sibulsky and Karen Sines.
