Rising Above: Responding to Disaster, Improving Sustainability in 2017

In 2017, the U.S. and Caribbean were affected by devastating natural disasters.

Hurricanes and wildfires led to an overwhelming need for health care aid, both in the immediate and long-term wake of the disasters.

Henry Schein worked in concert with customers, supplier partners, Team Schein Members, and hundreds of volunteers on the ground to provide critical relief to affected communities.

Our 2017 Responsibility and Sustainability Report places special emphasis on the power of partnership to respond to disaster.

Jennifer Kim Field, our VP of Corporate Social Responsibility and Executive Director of the Henry Schein Cares Foundation, shared:

“Throughout 2017, our commitment to enhancing access to care for people in need was tested in new and challenging ways. However, it only grew stronger with every new act of kindness, collaboration, and sacrifice.”

This year’s report is a testament to Henry Schein’s long-standing belief in the power of partnership, and the impact that can be made through a collaborative effort to “help health happen.”
