For the 6th straight year, the Henry Schein Dialysis Team participated in the Long Island Kidney Walk supporting the efforts of the National Kidney Foundation. A little rain couldn’t stop our team at this year’s walk which took place on Saturday May 16th in Eisenhower Park located in East Meadow NY.

Sales Support Team - LI Kidney Walk 201526 Million people have chronic kidney disease (CKD). The Kidney Walk is a fun, inspiring, community fundraiser which calls attention to the prevention of kidney disease and the need for organ donation. It’s also an opportunity for patients, family, friends and businesses to come together to support the 26 million Americans with CKD. The NKF’s Kidney Walks are designed to help people understand the need for early detection of kidney disease. In addition to raising funds for research and help for patients and their families, the Kidney Walk is a great way to bring the community together and spend time with our customers and the patients they treat.

Walking Kidney Walk 2015The Henry Schein Dialysis team recognizes that service extends beyond the workplace to our home communities. We were extremely proud to take this opportunity to support the dialysis community which we serve daily. This year, Team Henry Schein Dialysis raised close to $4,700 with the help of fellow TSM’s, vendors, friends and family. Over the past six years our team has raised and donated over $18,500 to this great foundation. Congratulations to all who participated and thank you to all who supported our team. See you next year!
